Aluminium offset plates are one of the cleanest and most repeatable aluminium streams on the market - thin, uniform single-grade sheet, delivery after delivery. We know this material inside out: we price against current market quotations, verify the composition with a spectrometer when needed, and on larger loads collect with our own transport and sell straight to smelters and foundries.
What we take from print houses
Print houses generate remarkably predictable aluminium: printed offset plates come off the presses in the same batch, the same grade and thickness. It’s thin single-grade aluminium sheet - material we price confidently and fast, because we know exactly what comes off the shop floor. You get paid for an offset plate as clean aluminium, not for a blended “aluminium mix”.
We serve offset print houses, printing plants and binderies - from a few pallets of plates a month to regular, larger batches. Alongside aluminium we collect production paper for recycling, so a single plant can hand over both plates and paper in one collection. A steady stream of plates needn’t take up your storage or your time. We agree supply terms and any collection schedule in advance, taking the plant’s operating schedule into account.

We price against current market quotations and check unusual material with a spectrometer. For repeat deliveries we agree terms up front and - from a few tonnes up - can send our own transport on a set date.
We weigh and settle
We weigh in front of you on legally verified scales, you get the documents appropriate to the delivery and a settlement with no surprises. The material goes straight to smelters and foundries.
Your plant's first delivery
Before making an enquiry, separate material by known grades. Tell us the approximate weight, location, packaging and frequency; add photos and information about contamination, oil or coolant. Include the alloy designation if available. We confirm final grading after assessing the material.
Before loading, agree the branch, delivery date, unloading arrangements, documents and settlement terms. If a KPO is required, the transferor prepares it before transport. Suppliers usually deliver the material; collection is agreed according to material type, quantity and location.
7 of our 9 branches accept business suppliers: five serve businesses only, while Warsaw Targówek and Otwock also accept individuals. Both Biała Podlaska points serve individuals only. The Wilanów head office does not accept material.

Do printed offset plates lose value?
Not because of the printing itself. Developed CTP plates are thin single-grade aluminium sheet - one of the cleanest and highest-priced streams from a print house. What affects the price is the grade, the thickness and contamination, not the ink on the surface.
Do you accept plates rejected at inspection and from press make-ready?
Yes. Plates from tests, make-ready and setup are still the same clean aluminium and are settled just like plates coming off production.
Can plates and paper be handed over in one collection?
Yes. Alongside aluminium, production paper for recycling is collected - trim from the guillotine and cutter, waste paper from run make-ready and cardboard from materials - so a single plant can hand over both plates and paper in one collection. The paper is baled on Odylion’s side.
Which branch serves print houses?
The Łódź branch runs specifically for suppliers like this - non-ferrous metals and paper handled separately. Offset plates are also accepted at the other branches that buy non-ferrous metals; recovered paper is taken by selected branches - they are listed on the “Recovered paper” group page.
What about the other metals from a printing plant?
Cables, copper and brass from installation swaps or machine dismantling are accepted and classified separately - each metal is settled by its own grade rather than added in with the aluminium.
