Got scrap in the garage? Come and sell it.
Do you collect non-ferrous metals or are you clearing out? Selected Odylion branches also buy from private individuals. Below you'll find what we accept, where to come and how to prepare for a visit.
Non-ferrous metals and more.
Non-ferrous metals are our specialty. Not sure which group your material belongs to? No problem — we'll identify it on site and price it fairly.

What to bring with you.
- An ID document — required when a private individual sells metal waste covered by the statutory acceptance form, subject to legal exceptions.
- Material sorted roughly in advance — it speeds up grading and may affect the valuation.
- Photos or the material itself, if you're not sure of the grade — we'll identify it on site.
Three simple steps.
Arrival and weighing
You drive into the branch and we weigh the material in front of you on authorised scales. Confirm unloading options for a larger lot with the branch in advance.
Grading and pricing
We identify the grade and quote a rate. For a non-obvious alloy, we can use a handheld spectrometer.
Settlement
You receive a settlement compliant with applicable regulations, showing the weighing result and agreed terms.
You'll most reliably do it with a single phone call — call your chosen branch from the list above and ask about opening hours and the details of taking in your material.
Before you come — frequently asked questions.
Which branches can I sell to as a private individual?
Not every branch buys from private individuals — selected branches do, including Warszawa Targówek, Otwock, Poznań and Biała Podlaska. Before you come, call your chosen branch from the list above to confirm it will take your material.
What can I sell as a private individual?
Non-ferrous metals are our specialty — copper (pieces, tubes, wires), aluminium (cans, rims, cables), brass and bronze, lead and car batteries, as well as stainless steel and cables and wires. Every branch listed above accepts ferrous scrap, while only selected branches accept paper. Not sure which group your material belongs to? We'll identify it on site.
Do I need to arrange a visit in advance?
The safest thing is to call before you come — a single phone call confirms whether a given branch will take your material and lets you ask about the details, including opening hours. You'll find the numbers next to each branch in the list above.
What do weighing and pricing look like on site?
We weigh the material in front of you on authorised, certified scales, and the result goes on your settlement. Then we identify the grade and quote a rate — unusual material we check with a handheld spectrometer, no guesswork. The final valuation depends on the grade, quantity and quality of the material, because buying prices follow current metal quotations. That's why we give the rate after we go over the material, not from a fixed table.
What should I bring with me?
An ID document is required when a private individual sells metal waste covered by the statutory acceptance form, subject to legal exceptions. It's also worth sorting the material roughly in advance, as it speeds up grading and may affect the valuation. If you're not sure of the grade, bring photos or the material itself — we'll identify it on site.
How does buying from private individuals differ from buying from businesses?
For businesses, we handle our side of the required document flow. If a KPO is required, the transferor creates it in BDO before transport and we confirm receipt and actual mass. A private individual selling covered metal waste needs an ID for the statutory acceptance form, subject to legal exceptions.
